Audience Response
I just want to say how much I loved your film. I'm so glad that someone is out there telling their story, it is really important. I just saw it last night and it really hit home for me in a lot of places. I'm in the middle of my transition and there was just so much to relate to in your film, especially the family stuff. - D.
Your mother and Father tore me up. Your Mom made me laugh out loud with almost every thing she said! Her generation was raised with such firm beliefs in the now outdated version of femininity. I have grown to realize that with my Mom, this is simply an echo of her past, not a reflection of her boundless love for me. Your Father made my heart swell every moment he was on screen. His love and support was palpable, even in the quiet moments when he was putting a voice to his unease. Their humor and joy in life was wonderful to witness. - Jennifer G.
"Your documentary was spellbinding and we felt especially honored to get to know you better during your Questions and Answer session with the audience. I remarked to my daughter, afterwards, that your Q & A session is the only one I attended (and I attended five of them) wherein EVERY single audience member remained after the film and sat riveted while you spoke. I was especially impressed by your warmth and depth of feelings. And your family. How awesome are they!" - Cassandra R.G.
I just want to say that was so nice to meet you yesterday and watching amazing documentary movie of trans life. I am impress of your job still and sometimes tears coming and I am so proud of you that showing one of the complicated and pain full life process to the people and making better future with your education in the movie for us. My English is not enough good to say what is my feeling and how much I am happy of this antique(movie) but you know what you done. congradulation, success full lady! - J.S.
I couldn't hold back the tears as I watched your movie yesterday. Every single time I saw your dad on the screen, the tears would start streaming. The love that your family has for you during this journey of your life was captured extraordinarily by your camera. - K.U.
